Having been part of the label's framework since its inception, Sideral returns to HABITAT Records on 30th April with his ‘Selva Floresta’ EP. Following an impressive run of releases on the imprint, including 2023's ‘Trills’ and 2024's ‘I Give You’, plus collaborations with label bosses Mind Against and a notable remix of CamelPhat’s ‘What A Day’, the Italian DJ/producer continues to reaffirm his role as one of the label’s most distinctive voices. Accompanied by a stripped-back rework from Spain’s Gespona and rhythm at its core throughout, this latest outing showcases his apt abilities to blur the lines between hypnotic groove and emotive storytelling. ‘Miracle’ opens the EP with a brooding suspense, as warped industrial textures intertwine with tight melodic synth work and cosmic stabs, unfolding into a slow-burning, late-night cut. Title track ‘Selva Floresta’ channels the raw energy of the rainforest, balancing organic rhythms with club-focused intensity. ‘Rhythmic Symphony’ shifts into more emotive territory, where drifting vocals and simmering synths glide across a cinematic backdrop, revealing a rich, textured soundscape. Closing the release, Gespona’s remix of ‘Selva Floresta’ brings dubbed, hard-hitting kicks to the fore, as marching rhythms and simmering energy reshape the original into a heads-down finale.
